Jimmie Lee Parson

Jimmie Lee Parson, 77, formerly of Crossville, Illinois, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at his home in St. John, Missouri.

He was born December 28, 1937, in Phillipstown, Illinois, the son of Kenneth Floyd Parson and Marjorie (Hunley) Parson. He was married to Wanda May (Nash) Parson, and she survives.

Jimmie was retired from McDonnell Douglas Corporation where he worked as a storekeeper. He was an Army Veteran and enjoyed watching television.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Parson of St. John, MO; son Kenneth Lee (Kymberly) Parson of Ballwin, MO; sister Patty (Max) Anderson of Kirkwood, MO; grandchildren Mia Grace Parson and Madyson Mahan.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Pamela Kay Cagle.

Visitation and funeral are Friday, January 2, 2015, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville. Visitation is at 10 am and funeral is at 11 am. Burial with military rites will be in Stokes Chapel Cemetery near Crossville.
