Karen Kaye Sturm

Karen Kaye Sturm, 72, of Crossville, Illinois, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois. She was born March 22, 1944, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of B. Harold and Geneva Faye (McIntire) Sturm. She was a retired reservation agent for Trans World Airlines.

Karen was an avid reader and enjoyed playing computer games with players around the world.

Survivors include sisters Jeanna Yates of Crossville, Linda (Victor) Hill of Fairfield; brother Mike Sturm of Willits, California; nieces and nephews Kevin Sturm, Tynna Yates, Jodie Locke, Victoria Moore, Heather Sutherlin, J.D. Hill, Melanie Knight, Kristina Richards, Kim Wooten, Amy Sturm, Carolyne Tidwell, Zanada Farmer and Mike Yates; special family Nora, Brittany, Kim, Zoey and Logan; and special little buddies Matthew and Jacob.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Geneva Sturm.

Visitation is 1-3 pm, Sunday, September 18th at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville. A private family burial will be at a later date.
