Grayville, Illinois
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, in shock to many of us when Linda Points heart gave its last beat. At home, early morning of April 14, 2023, her heart stopped, and with comfort and peace, Linda was called to her Heavenly home.
Linda Ana Mae Odom Pritchett Points of Grayville, IL, age 78, with marriage to Danny A. Points, March 27, 1993, was born February 28, 1945, at Morganfield, KY. Linda always had good homes in Grayville, graduating from Grayville High School in 1963, and continuing as a special mother and homemaker.
She is survived by husband Danny; children Jeff Pritchett of Evansville, IN, Todd Craddock of Plymouth, MN, Andrew Pritchett of Davies, FL; step-daughter Katherine Points Douglas; grandchildren Lindsey Pritchett Nape, Chelsea Pritchett Hanks; step-grandchild Aron Douglas; great-grandchildren Kyle Gibson, Madalyn Meck, Hunter Hanks, Dylan Meck, Rhys Gibson, Gauge Nape, and Rhaygan Hanks.
Linda is preceded in death by father Casey Odom, Mother Leona Mabrey Odom, brothers Larry and Roger Odom, and former husband Ray Pritchett.
Her remembrances are of warm, friendly, loving times filled with good sounds of music, smiling, and letting us know she is near. She loved the Lord, family, and friends with all her heart telling them to continue their lives with happiness, laughter and song, enjoying the precious moments. She was always proud to be making the school honor roll, being a cheerleader, and winning school spelling bees, so much so that husband Danny would ask her for a spelling instead of looking in the dictionary. Being a member of First Christian Church of Grayville, IL, she shared many years of youth service.
Lindas memorable excursions include cruising the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers on the Delta Queen, sailing in the Caribbean, long train rides through the United States, and especially the boat rides at Springfield Lake, IL, with classmates Keith and Kay Rose.
