Ray Pritchett

Leonard Ray Pritchett, 76, of Grayville, Illinois, died Friday, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born April 15, 1942, in Grayville, the son of William B. and Mary E. (Hutchinson) Pritchett.

Ray was retired from a career in agricultural sales. He was a member of the Grayville United Methodist Church. Other memberships include the Moose Lodge and Eagles. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed playing golf with the Over the Hill Gang at the Carmi Country Club.

Survivors include his dear friend Marianne Salpietra of Newburgh, Indiana; son Jeff Pritchett and son-in-law George Schmadel of Evansville; grandchildren Lindsey NicoleNape and Chelsea Elizabeth Hanks.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Melody Morris; and brother Kenneth Pritchett.

In keeping with Rays wishes, a graveside service will be at 10 am, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.

Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
