Sandra Jean Freischlag

Sandra Jean Freischlag, 73, of Crossville, Illinois, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home. She was born December 31, 1946, in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar and Betty (McAtee) Smith.

She was a Christian and a hard worker. She loved cars, cooking, and being with her family.

Survivors include son Joseph Charles Jay (Allgood) Freischlag, Jr., of Dallas, Texas; daughter Penny (Assam) Alsabih of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren Cheyenne, Benjamin, Montgomery, Emerson, Anderson, Ainsley, and Alexandra.

She is preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; and ex-husband Joseph Charles Freischlag, Sr.

In keeping with Sandras wishes, her remains were cremated. There will be no services.

Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville is in charge of arrangements.
